Omiš is a city in the heart of Dalmatia. It is located at the mouth of the Cetina River, which flows into the Adriatic Sea. It is located 21 kilometers southeast of the largest Dalmatian city of Split. Above the city of Omiš is the mountain Omiška Dinara, which stretches 16 km east of the city. On the right side of the city is Poljička planina, Banbjača. Cetina is a river that belongs to the Adriatic basin, and is located in the Split-Dalmatia County. It is 105 km long and flows into the Adriatic Sea.
